A valiant group of late night Ni members took to Ulduar again on Monday and Tuesday at midnight, going in for multiple hours in an attempt to get some of those pesky Keepers down. Turned out the raids were more of a success than we thought they might be! Not only did we get Ignis down for the first time ever (honestly... we hadn't even touched him since the first week Ulduar released... and damn was he hell back then) and then downed both Thorim and Freya on the second night! Fantastic work everyone!

After some brilliant work from everyone, massive healing, massive dps we got Hodir down tonight!

Knights of Ni are progressing nicely into Ulduar and we're finally on to the Keepers! We've had a few shots at Hodir on Sunday and Monday, however it has become rather obvious that frost resistance is a requirement for this encounter. As such, I've compiled a list of gear for the four armor classes that every Ulduar raider will be absolutely, unequivocally required to pick up. There are no exceptions to this.

Since we usually have at least one paladin in the raid (who can provide a frost resistance aura of +130 frost resistance), I am asking dps and healers to pick up only one piece of resistance gear. Tanks must pick up two, three if you can manage it and remain uncrittable. Please see below for the items that are craftable. If you choose to farm the mats for each item, please contact a guildie to make it for you. However, you are, of course, welcome to buy the items on the AH, although be aware that these are often inflated prices. Please note that the chest piece provides the highest resistance and has the most number of sockets. This may be the most viable option for dps and healers in order to socket plenty of gems in for hit rating, spell power, etc.

If you are in need of assistance regarding some mats, please speak to an officer. We are able to help hand out frozen orbs from the guild bank if need be.

A great start to our raiding weekend with our very first Auriaya kill. Well done Ni! On to the Keepers next!

Another great weekend for Ni raiding! This Saturday we had quick shots at Flame Leviathan, Razorscale and XT-002 Deconstructor. On Sunday we came back and after a lot of hard work and determination, we got our guild first kills of Assembly of Iron and Kologarn! A few attempts at Auriaya were made (our closest one got her down to 30% health!) before we called it. Thanks for all the hard work guys, it definitely paid off!

Fantastic work Ni on a great XT-002 Decontructor first kill! We even got the "Nerf Gravity Bombs" achievement for nobody dying to one.

It was tough at times, but we got there in the end!

It was really funny seeing a raid of gnomes harassing the locals while Rev played the Benny Hill music over Vent!
